Hi there— it’s nice to meet you. I have always been fascinated with people and the human psyche. Perhaps because of my cultural upbringing, I believe deeply in the power of storytelling and in how our unique and collective stories can bring healing. My story is layered with love, grief, trauma, loss, and hope, and all of it has shaped how I move through life and how I work with my clients.

When I am not doing therapy, you can find me gardening, reading a book, exploring hiking trails with my kids, drinking tea, or watching a funny rom-com.

OUR WORK TOGETHER

Therapy can be a deeply transformative experience, where you may discover more of who you are and ultimately find greater peace. As a relational psychodynamic family therapist, I work to create an environment where you feel understood and supported as you explore your story and how it affects the relationships that matter most to you.

My approach is relational and collaborative, rooted in depth-oriented psychodynamic psychotherapy, emotionally focused therapy, and somatic work. We focus on root emotional and relational patterns that show up in therapy and in your relationships outside of therapy. Together, we work to reduce symptoms while digging deep to understand why they arise so you can move toward lasting change.

SPECIALTIES

I specialize in family and couples therapy and work from a depth-oriented, somatic, and relational framework. While I primarily work with couples and families, I also work with individuals seeking long-term relational depth therapy.

I also am an especially good fit for those who struggle with feelings of guilt and shame, those who consider themselves highly sensitive, and those who feel like outsiders.

Having worked as both an educator and a counselor in public education and community agencies for over a decade before moving into private practice, I am passionate about helping families thrive and offer individual parenting support and an online parenting community on Instagram and TikTok.
