Welcome! My name is,

Sidu Arroyo

Licensed Professional Counselor & Chief Executive Officer

A woman with shoulder-length dark hair, wearing a black long-sleeve shirt and brown pants, sitting on a white sofa with a relaxed posture, smiling at the camera.

As a child I wanted to be a teacher (and I did become one) but soon learned that I craved to be in a different helping profession and pursued a Master’s in Counseling to help children, adults, and families become at home within themselves as well as in relationships they find meaningful.

When I am not doing therapy, you can find me gardening, exploring hiking trails with my kids, drinking tea, enjoying good friends, or watching a funny rom com.

OUR WORK TOGETHER

Therapy can be a deeply transformative experience where you may discover more of who you are and ultimately find a greater sense of peace. As a relational psychodynamic family therapist, I work to create an environment where you feel understood and supported in exploring your story.

My approach is relational and collaborative. We focus on root emotional and relational patterns that show up in therapy and in your relationships outside of therapy. Together, we work to decrease symptoms while digging deep to address why symptoms show up so that you can move toward lasting change.

SPECIALTIES

I specialize in long-term relational, depth therapy with adolescents and adults in addition to supporting children and their families through child-centered family therapy, and perinatal patients struggling with perinatal mood disorders. I also am an especially good fit for those who struggle with feelings of guilt and shame; those who consider themselves highly sensitive; and those who feel like outsiders.

Having worked both as an educator and counselor in public education and community agencies for over a decade prior to moving into private practice I am passionate about seeing families thrive and offer individual parenting support and an online parenting community on Instagram and TikTok.
